Your notes stay on your phone. There is one exception, it only happens if you choose it, and this page says exactly what it is.

Timed Note has no accounts, no sign-in, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking of any kind. It does not have a server that your notes go to, because it does not have a server at all.
Everything you record, every time it works out, and every setting you change is written to storage on your own device and read back from there. Uninstalling the app deletes all of it.
The single thing that ever leaves your phone is a message you write to us on purpose, using the contact form inside the app. Nothing else is sent anywhere.
All of this is stored in the app's own private storage and is never transmitted:
Reminders are scheduled by Android on the device itself. No notification is sent from anywhere else, which is also why they still arrive with no connection.
The app asks for the microphone so it can hear a note. It listens only while you are recording, after you have tapped the button, and stops on its own when you finish speaking.
Turning speech into text is done by the speech recognition service built into your phone - on most Android phones that is Google's, and on some it is the manufacturer's. Depending on your device and settings, that service may do the work on the phone or may send the audio to its own servers. That step is between you and whoever provides that service, under their privacy policy, and we have no part in it and no access to it.
Timed Note never receives the audio and never stores a recording. What comes back to the app is the text, and the text stays on your phone.
Settings has a contact form for saying hello or reporting a bug. It is the only part of the app that uses the network, and only when you tap Send. What it sends:
That goes over an encrypted connection to a small endpoint we run at tinkerpile.com/api/contact, which forwards it to us as an email and keeps no copy of its own. It arrives in a mailbox we read, and it stays there until we delete it or you ask us to - see below.
We use it to answer you and to fix what you reported. It is not used for anything else, it is not added to a mailing list, and it is not sold, rented or shared with anyone. If you never use the form, we hold nothing about you at all.
This applies to Timed Note (com.timednote), published on Google Play by Press Escape, MB (Vilnius, Lithuania) under its tinkerpile projects.
These never reach us, so there is nothing to ask us for. Delete a single note by holding it and choosing the bin, or remove all of it at once by uninstalling the app. Uninstalling erases the app's storage completely and cannot be undone - there is no copy anywhere else to restore from.
To have the email address and message you sent us erased:
We delete it within 30 days and reply to confirm. There is no account to close and no form to fill in beyond that one.
Already uninstalled the app? Write to the support address shown on the Timed Note listing on Google Play, with the same subject. The contact form is the quicker route, not the only one.
Timed Note is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect anything from them. It has no accounts and asks for no personal details, so the only way to send us anything is to write to us on purpose.
If you are in the UK or the EU, data protection law gives you the right to see, correct, or have erased anything we hold about you, and to object to how we use it. Given the above, that only ever amounts to a message you sent us, and the steps for erasing one are on this page. Write to the same address for any of the rest, and we will answer.
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it, and the version that applies is the one published here. A change that affects what leaves your phone would be said plainly rather than folded into a paragraph.
